Aggregates can be used in many areas of construction including concrete, asphalt, sealing, and drainage materials as well as decorative uses in landscaping. Wharehine stocks the following general aggregates:

  Hard fill

  Crushed, graded metal containing fines suitable for driveways and similar projects. We stock AP150, AP100 and AP70 grades.

  Rock spawls

  Large boulders or rocks used in landscaping, breakwater, seawalls and retaining walls.

• 
  Run of Pit

  Blasted rocks, used in culvert fillings, road construction, farm tracks, or landscaping.

• 
  Gabion Rock

  Available in a variety of sizes from 100mm to 300mm, and suitable for use in gabion baskets, anti-scouring of drainage channels, rip rap, stone walls and landscaping.

  Builders Mix

  A general purpose blend for small concreting projects around the home or building site. Wharehine stocks BM20, which is suitable for mixing with cement to make concrete.
